Photographer

A picture worth a thousands words. Its true. Through a picture, it can tell the whole story behind it. And through picture, our memories are kept to be the most valuable elements in our own life. Chewah. Interpretation pasal photographer, berbunga2 ayat. But it is true about pictures. Itulah yang akan jadi kenangan yang akan di selak berjuta kali akan datang selepas berkahwin. Y do i say that? Sampai ke tua lah this pictures we will see and argue and laugh about.

Therefore, you need to choose the right photographer that suits ur need, ur style, and ur budget. Ooooohhhh...(maaf fiance saya dtg mengacau tatkala saya menemankan die bekerja di pavillion event dome ini sambil lagu boyz II Men berkumandang). Ok back to the story. Nowadays, our photographer are very creative and their vision of seeing things are different. Way back time, taking wedding pictures is just to make sure the view is centre and a little bit of scenery. Sebab itu gamba org dolu2, bawah pokok pisang pon jadi.

Now, its the technique and editing that makes it beautiful. The caught in act action or candid are one of the sincere shots that the bride or groom will love as it represents who they are. No need to pretend. And these photographers will make miracle on the shots that they will take. They will do the editing and make ur wedding the most beautiful ever, hinggakan wedding Kate Middleton pon kalah. Haha.

In Malaysia itself, mmg ramai photographers yang berbakat. To name a few yang famous are Danial Zain, Udey &; Mukhriz, Bak Hafiz, Fad Manaf, Candid Syndrome, Avicenna and many more. My good friend pon is a great photographer. His name is Lokhman from Cubic Foto. Excellent weyh! Their outcome mmg superb. Cume sediakan ongkosnya. So herewith i attach few pictures by this wonderful photographer. Nanti later2 i'll share about my OP alright!

Wedding Venue

When we first decided to get married, the first thing in my mind was to secure a venue. Since me and fiancée have agreed to combine our reception, venue is very much important as it will gather both families and friends.

After deciding on the wedding date, first place that I chose was at Dewan Community Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. The reason why I chose is actually because of the location that is very near from my house. I remembered when my sisters time, this community hall is fully book and need to do booking at least 1.5 years in advance. Gile kan!

But for my time, it was easy sebab DBKL had introduce the online booking system where u just need to go this web address http://appsys.dbkl.gov.my/sistem/esukan/. But to be fair to all, you only can book the date that you want 1 year in advance base on the date that you book. For example, if today is 1st of May 2011, the date that you can book is up to 1st May 2012 only.

So what I did was I had to wait until the very day to make the booking. Banyak dugaan! That time was a little bit crazy. When I click 2nd June 2012, it appear in my receipt 06/02/2012.  Teramatlah nasib baik when I call the management to check on my booking and they told me the date that appears in their system was 6th February 2012! Hoih.. cepat sangat tuh! Mana nak cekau duit! So I re-did the booking and Alhamdulillah, dapat secure the venue.

After making the booking, me and fiancé when to DKTTDI to pay deposit for the bookings that we made. The amount that we paid was RM300 on 24th June 2011. Cuma setback pasal this hall that it is empty. Court badminton sebenarnya. So later on during the reception, u need to rent the tables & chairs and letak carpet as it is one of their requirements.

Here are few pictures of reception wedding that was held at DKTTDI. My friend Sarah from Chenta Wedding did a superb great job decorating it. So to bride to be, choose your venue fast sebelum di kebas orang!

RSVP

RSVP
abbreviation
Répondez s'il vous plaît, or please reply (used at the end of invitations to request a response)

Usually if we receive wedding invitation or any events invitation, usually it is stated at the bottom of the card for us to RSVP. Not many knows what is the function for this rsvp. Some may just see and dont bother to take actions or perhaps, take for granted with the invitation card, you already seats at that function.

It is important for us to actually reply to the rsvp. With the reply, the event organizer or in malays wedding terms,  'tuan rumah', will able to calculate or estimate how many guest that are available to attend the function or ceremony. From there they will arrange with the hotels, or caterer on how many pax of food that they will need prepare.

It happened to a friend to my sister,  where her wedding was held at a 5 star hotel and the seats was not enough due to un-reply guest came for the ceremony. Yes, the more the merrier but not on a seated type of function. The bride's father need to add up more than 5 tables which usually a table can accomodate 8-10 pax. First thing first, it does create inconvenience to the tuan rumah and also the guest. Imagine if the tuan rumah are not able to get more seats. It will definitely cause shame to both party.

So moral of the story, if you did receive this kind of invitation, spare maybe 5 mins of your time to reply. It does make a difference
